Problems with Horse Ownership

I somehow acquired a horse and needed a place to keep it. I went to someone’s house out of town (in the dream it was my friend, but I don’t know him irl) and he offered to take care of the horse for the weekend. He had a big barn with other horses, and he kept my horse in there too. This all happened before the dream began— the only part of the dream I remember is going to pick the horse up. I went to my friend’s barn to get my horse back and he wanted $500 for taking care of it. I freaked out and offered him something I had (I can’t remember what it was) which he said was worth $400. We agreed that he would give me $400 and then I would go to the bank and transfer $500 into his account. No idea why I didn’t just give him $100, but whatever. He told me he was going to pay me in special banknotes that I would have to sign. He gave me a blue pen and I signed every note as he handed them over. The first several were all very old money, as in some of the first stuff ever printed by the Mint, and I signed them in really big letters so that in case they were ever put in a museum everyone would see my name. The rest of the “special banknotes” were just pieces of scrap paper. I stopped signing them big, since I doubted his old homework sheets would ever go in a museum. One that I specifically remember was a reading log, like the ones I had to do in elementary school. After we were done, I went outside to get my horse. I got on the horse easily (even though it wasn’t wearing a saddle) and rode it around for a bit until my friend came out and said I was doing it all wrong. He had me sit further back and change my leg position, and I felt like I was going to fall off, but when I had the horse go again it went a lot faster than before. I rode away.
