Infested mind

I was at some kind of school dance and one of our teachers was doing this weird demonstration with grasshoppers. She went around attaching them to the backs of our heads, presumably our hair? But when she attached one to me it immediately latched onto my scalp and started violently shaking. It was as if it was trying to take a bite of skin and wiggle itself free with a mouthful. I tried to play it cool but I had begun panicking. I asked others around me if theirs were shaking and they just laughed and said no... Meanwhile, my hands were shaking and I was sweating profusely to the point where I was drooling uncontrollably. It was terrifying. No longer able to play it cool, I called out to the teacher as she was walking around everyone checking on their little science experiment. I heard her mention something about if someone starts to develop a fever to let her know so I called her over. She took one look at me and said yep you have a fever. One of my friends jumped up and said he would take me home, and started running downstairs to get the car. Meanwhile the lady was trying to free me from the grasshopper. She made a comment that it was really hungry, kinda laughing as she said it. Still trying to contain my panic, I covered my face with my hands as she removed the creature and my hands were just fluttering I was shaking so hard. Finally she said I was free and I couldn't run out of there fast enough.
